(Dress - Primark, Hat - H&M, Doc Martens (although not pictured) - Amazon)
Well, I think the title of this post pretty much sums up my outfit of today. This dress is one of my absolute favourites and I like to call it my Wednesday Addams number - wonder why?! I'll admit that I don't shop in Primark very often, but when I saw this amongst all of the suits (what?!) I practically ran over (well, walked like a woman on a mission). And I've lived in it ever since. It fits me perfectly, and I love playing around with it and dressing it with other things, especially my tights collection. Like I've mentioned a little too many times, I love love love collars. This dress is exactly my cup of tea. My choice of shoe-wear, although not pictured, were my trusty Doc Martens. Although I bought them around September time, they're yet to break in enough to wear them for hours on end without hurting my poor feet (any tips on how to break them in?!), so I thought a quick little trip would be the perfect time to get their first outing.
Since it's been snowing a lot where I live (halfway up to my knees!!) I hadn't high hopes that this dress would keep me that warm, but much to my surprise it did. Obviously, I was wearing my check coat too but I'm one of those people who could walk around with hot water bottles attached to me if I could. I discovered this morning that I've somehow misplaced/lost my favourite winter hat. I was a little confused as to how I didn't notice it go missing, it resembled a small mammal and the ball of fluff wouldn't be easy to lose, or so I thought. However, I decided to wear my Bowler Hat as it's replacement, and it certainly stepped up to the mark. (Plus, I'm finally living up to my blog's name!)
Now, my afternoon shall be spent hopefully watching numerous Criminal Minds episodes and drinking my body weight in tea. And lastly to mention, having a meeting with my owl-print slanket (aka best friend).
How are you spending your snow days? Is there even snow where you live?
xxxx

cute hat! i broke my Docs in really easily, I just wore really thick socks with them and wore them on a few looong walks. my feet did ache slightly but it's worth it to have the leather supple and molded to your feet - that's how you know they're yours :-) hope this helps x
