(Dress - Topshop (old), Bag - Tk Maxx, Necklace - Gift)
Another outfit post? Two days in a row? Wow. What is going on?! Well, today I took a trip to the Metrocentre with my nana for a cup of tea and a little wander. The dress is something I picked up in the Topshop sale last year. It was a bargain price of only £10 and stranded amongst the size 16 sale rail, so to come across this was fate. I'd never seen it in the shop before, but to find it hidden away in the wrong sizes, I knew I had to get my mitts on it! Admittedly, it looks a little like something someone at a beauty salon would wear.. but I still really do love it. It's incredibly versatile and easy to either dress up or down. And I received this lovely necklace for Christmas, admittedly I'm terrible at wearing jewellery (anyone else always forget?!) - however, I felt it this dress needed jazzing up a bit.
And onto the bag. Oh, the bag. The bag which just cost me a small fortune but I couldn't put it down. Whilst browsing around TK Maxx (aka one of my favourite shops - so many bargains) I found this beauty of a bag. And I didn't even hesitate to rush to the tills after finding it, despite the hefty price tag. Although I was slightly put off by the fact it isn't leather, when I couldn't physically bring myself to part with it and put it back.. it had to be mine! It's by Steve Madden and is the first tan coloured bag/tote I actually own. The gold studding detail instantly caught my attention and it's an ideal size for me, it even fits my camera in. Hence the picture heavy post, I couldn't stop taking photographs of it's sheer loveliness.
(Couldn't resist putting in this outtake, made me laugh so much!)
