(Blouse - See by Chloe, Skirt - Topshop, Jumper - Charity Shop)
Finally, I've managed to find the time to take some outfit photographs! I've just started semester 2 at university, and although I'm not in that much, what with travelling (it takes me 90 minutes each way) I never seem to be at home during daylight hours to take photographs, woe is me. However, saying that, I am really loving University at the minute. I've eventually begun a module in Fashion Journalism and it's perfect. I've been really busy recently, at various gigs and university etc. Next week I'm even interviewing a band called Tonight Alive - eek!
I bought this blouse about 18 months ago. You're probably thinking, how did she afford a See by Chloe blouse, and if I'm being totally honest it was a freak sale purchase. Urban Outfitters do crazy sales sometimes, and this lovely blouse was £30ish down from £200 or something - crazy! I've also got a few other crazy sale bargains I've bought recently that I'll hopefully be posting about soon.
But back to the blouse. You know when you see a piece of clothing and you think 'that was made for me', well that is what happened when I came across this. It has 3/4 length sleeves, a peter pan collar and a sailor collar detailing at the back (although you can't see in the photographs), all which are my cup of tea. The buttons are even little flowers - adorable!
The skirt is something I picked up in Topshop sale on Christmas eve, but believe it or not, this is the first time I've worn it. When I bought it, it was far far far too big for me - despite being my size. Topshop sizing just seems a bit all over the place for me at the minute, however, it's a lovely grey marl/tweed fabric and I can't resist a pleated skirt. I already have a very similar skirt to this from Topshop in tan and black (yes I bought the same skirt twice in different colours). And after about 3 weeks of it sitting in it's carrier bag, I finally got around to altering it to fit - I couldn't be happier.
Finally, this jumper is another one of my recent charity shop finds. Although you possibly can't tell through this photographs, it's actually glittery! And I love a bit of glitter. Plus, I thought it's grey/purple dip-dye effect on it is something a little different. I never jumped on the dip-dye bandwagon, however, this is an exception.
ps. Did you notice the Fall Out Boy lyric named post?! I felt it was appropriate because I am SO HAPPY THEY'RE BACK. They were my favourites when I was 13/14/15. Anyone else really glad they've come off their break too?!
