What I would wear with... a Pink Coat!

Admittedly, when I first saw mention of a dusty pink coat being a big trend this winter I sort of pushed it to the side. Not being one for pink, it's a colour I very rarely wear. However, there's something about looking slightly like a marshmallow that I've found myself loving recently. And since I'm terrible about spending money at the minute (being a student and all that), I always find it super helpful to create little moodboard over how I'd style a certain piece.

So, this is what I'd wear with a pink coat:
WIWW - Pink Coat

(Pink Coat - River Island)

Giuseppe Zanotti Flora Slipper Shoes - Ok, so these shoes may not be everyone's cup of tea. However, the minute velvet and bows are involved - I'm there. With the gold-cap hardware detailing being a lovely little addition, these shoes are a winner in my eyes. They may be ever so slightly (read: really really far away) out of my reach but we can all dream! And I've got my eyes set on finding some similar pairs in the high-street.

Two Tone Mini Skirt - This beauty from Zara is currently top of my wishlist. I think the black and sand combination makes a nice change and since the coat is the centrepiece per se then it's always a good option to keep the rest quite muted (unless you want to go for the whole ice-cream sundae vibe as I'm totally backing that too). And the skater style skirt? Oh, that old chestnut - always a favourite.

Cream Crop Jumper - Can you tell I've been watching Clueless far too many times recently? That film just never gets old, and you've got to admire Cher's outfit choices. And since my love for fluffy jumpers is as present as ever, this cropped number caught my eye in an instant. Dare I even add that these jumpers are the warmest/comfiest things in the world - a hug in a jumper always gets a gold star from me!

Alexander Wang Marion Gold Top Handle Bag - Again, this is where the shoes are in a little unreachable cloud in my dream wishlist. How perfect is this Alexander Wang bag? I mean, it should be illegal to look so good. The camel-coloured leather is versatile and the gold hardware makes it look just that little bit more luxury. And it's has a leather zip-off pouch inside which can be used as a clutch, need I say more!

Faux Fur Ear Muffs  - Whilst I'm partial to styling my hair in a beehive occasionally, in the winter months I always face the same difficulty - keeping my ears warm. Alas, the ear muffs to the rescue! They're an ideal option and I think I may have spent a whole 3 months last winter wearing a pair. Just look at how warm these one's look.

  11. Hi Amy, new follower here! I just discovered your blog and I must say, I love it. I do believe I'm going to take some time to explore it properly and snoop through your old posts too, it's so inspiring that you've only started 1 year ago and you're already doing so well (and I'm hoping to start blogging soon, too). Anywho, hope you're well and hugs from Italy xo
