The Sunday Low-Down #4

What I've been up to //

I'm typing this as I'm watching the Wimbledon mens final (rooting for Federer) so it's going to be a bit of a short one. My week on a whole has been really chilled, spending the most of my time working on a new project and watching a silly amount of Tennis on the telly - who'd have thought it?

Trying to post as many outfit blog posts on here as I can, this week I've been shooting plenty more of those, and scouring for new locations around Newcastle. I never knew how pretty a city my hometown  is (despite living here for my whole life) and I've came across some of the most wonderful places which has been really enjoyable. I'm trying to use my summer as a time to develop plenty of skills, and I've noticed a massive improvement in my photography in the last few weeks. It's something I've grown a love for, and something I definitely want to explore more. My next task is to become friendly with InDesign - as we're going to be spending a whole load of time together in my third year of university (I have to create a magazine which is rather exciting but very daunting!).

In terms of my blog, I've decided to have a little switch-a-too with my schedule, with my posts now being on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (as I felt that fit better than having two outfit posts in two days!).

What has made me smile //

- Shooting plenty of outfit photographs for the blog with Helen and Charissa.

- Eating my body weight in candyfloss (because I'm around 5 years old).

- Working on a rather exciting project, and finally coming up with it's name!

- Spending my afternoons watching Wimbledon and getting far too involved. Lets just say there's been a lot of shouting at the telly screen.

- Finding out I may be going to London for a few days next year, hooray!

What I've been listening to //

- Childish Gambino - Sweatpants

- Death Cab For Cutie - Soul Meets Body

- Elliot Smith - Between The Bars
