With procrastination being my second name, I can spend a lot of my time browsing the good ol’ web. And in my quests have found myself lots of online shops which I fallen a little in love with. And so, welcome to my new feature – where I’ll be making a little wishlist and post about an online shop I’ve been loving ever so often.
First up, Missguided. A shop I’ve never really delved into much if I’m being honest, but after having a little look through their shop, I fell in love with many of their products. I definitely can see myself making a naughty purchase or two, at their prices it would be rude not to – right?!

Here are a few of the pieces I’m lusting after.

Carmelita Crochet Detail Blouse // Dianera Collared Dogtooth Shift Dress // Hether Textured Tailored Boyfriend Coat // Milagros Asymmetric Wrap Over Skirt // Ponika Swing Shift Dress
As you can probably tell, I’m slightly obsessed with the whole mono-pastel thing going on right now. And it’s pretty safe to say that these have plenty of pieces which are totally up my street, I’ve already got some outfits all planned in my head. Plenty of collars, shift dresses and boyfriend coats, what more could a girl as for?!

What are you currently loving on Missguided?

What are your favourite online shops? I’d love to discover some new ones!

Weekend Wishlist #8 – The Designer Edit

Now, I know that I can’t afford anything in this post, but a wishlist complied of designer goodies can’t really go a miss. And I’m always browsing online collections to see what high-street dupes I can find. It may no longer be the weekend, and blogger may have deleted my original post for this (which may I say spent 2 hours perfecting. no biggie) but hey ho, the show must go on right?!

Alexander McQueen Skull and Chain Leather Loafers, Red Valentino Scalloped Trim Crepe Dress
Printed Brushed Velvet A-Line Skirt, Sophie Hulme Mini Leather Envelope Bag
Stills Wool Blend Coat, Red Valentino Bow Embellished Wool Blend Coat
Suno NY Printed A-Line Stretch Silk Dress
Whilst a lot of this items are totally my cup of tea, some are maybe a little out of my comfort zone or dare I say out of this world (yes I’m looking at you intergalactic-inspired skirt).
The Alexander McQueen black loafers certainly embrace my 13 year old emo days with it’s skull motif fitting the bill. In fact their whole ‘Dress Rehearsal’ collection is to die for; the lace jacquard dress with  rib-cage shaped lace? My inner-goth is certainly happy with that (even if is the £1,435 price tag is a tad *cough* out of reach). And if you’d have asked me a month ago that I’d fall head over heels with a pink coat – a trend that certainly wasn’t for me – I probably would’ve laughed in your face. Me and pink have never had a budding relationship, but what I can say? Me and this Stills coat have a connection. The handbag gods made a good ‘un with the beauty that is the Sophie Hulme Envelope Bag in the most perfect coral shade. With scalloped hems and bow detailing, Red Valentino have certainly got it right again? Count me in.
What’s on your wishlist at the minute?
(And ps – sorry for all of the wishlists at the minute – my camera got caught in a bit of a flash flood last week so it’s been drying out for a good few days, haha.)

Hello… Luce from BonjourLuce!

Whenever I’m looking to buy a new beauty product, there’s a couple of blogs which I always rush to first to check out their reviews. One of these is BonjourLuce, an incredible beauty/lifestyle/sometimes fashion blog ran by the lovely Luce. If like me, you find the world of skincare bamboozling, then this is one blog you want to check out. Making everything seem simple, this girl certainly knows how to persuade me to go shopping!
What was it that sparked your decision to start your blog?
I had been reading blogs for a few years and I was suddenly buying a lot more than I usually do, so I thought why not write about it all?
Were there any blogs in particular that inspired you? If so, which ones?
I had been reading Lily Pebbles, Vivianna Does Makeup and Zoella from the beginning, so probably them!
What would you say are the pros and cons of blogging?
The main pro is the community. I’ve met some of my closest friends through blogging which is amazing, everyone is so similar in some way that we all get along. Similar the last pro is meeting a lot of people in the beauty industry. It’s really helped me decide what I want to do as a career in the future, as they’re so inspiring. To me there aren’t many cons, as I rarely get hate, but there are so many girls in the blogging community that it can get quite bitchy at times. Another one would be when you start to compare your own blogs to other people’s blogs. That isn’t healthy for you.
Have you had any blogging highlights?
One of the main blogging highlights was going to London fashion week! I’ve always been avid follower of the fashion weeks so it was a dream come true. Another one would be landing myself an internship at a great PR company through my blog.

How long have you been interested in beauty?
Since my early teens! I’ve made my mistakes with beauty, like over plucking eyebrows, but I’ve always been interested in it. It was my older sister who sparked this whole beauty obsession, she used to pass on her unwanted items!
Something I love about your blog is how simply you explain the importance of skincare/haircare/make-up whilst making it super easy to understand.
So, what advice would you give to those just branching out into it all?
Invest in good skincare, I don’t mean £50+ creams, just a good cleanser and moisturiser. Your skin will thank you later in life. Once you have good skin, you can just use high street make up as it will sit perfectly on your perfect skin!
Have you any skincare tips that you swear by?
Ooo, my top tip would be to always double cleanse after wearing make up. Step away from make up wipes and never cleanse with micellar water, just use that to remove your make up.
If you could only have 5 pieces of skincare and 5 pieces of make-up, what products would you choose?
My five skincare bits would be REN Rosa Centifolia Cleansing Gel, Pixi Glow Tonic, Origins Make A Difference Plus Serum, Origins GinZing Moisturiser and REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask!
My five make-up bits would be Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation, NARS Creamy Concealer, Tom Ford Brow Sculptor in Blonde, Benefit ‘They’re Real’ Mascara and MAC Plumful Lipstick!
And finally, what’s currently at the top of your beauty wishlist?
The item I’m craving at the moment is Hourglass Ambient Lightening Powder palette. It comes out on Nov 4th and it’s limited edition, meaning I HAVE to have it!
