Outfit Details: Leopard Print Scarf – c/o Laura Ashley, Jumper – Primark, Skirt – New Look, Hat – c/o Laura Ashley, Bag – Zara

As the darker nights are really starting to cut in, it’s that time of year where copious amounts of blankets scarves become a must have (I mean, it is Christmas next month after all..!). From silk scarves, to neckerchiefs, wooly scarves to fur snoods – I have a bit of thing for them and how they add that extra something something to an outfit. I’ve been incredibly lucky in the last few weeks to acquire quite a selection, all which I’ve really been enjoying styling up. I love their versatility and how many variations they come in, so when I spotted this leopard print wooly number (we all know that classic print is my fave) I had to snap it up.

I wear a lot of leopard print in my wardrobe, and although it’s often seen as being quite daunting, it’s really one of the easiest prints to incorporate into your outfit in my opinion. Whether you like to wear a more neutral colour palette, it always really complements autumnal shades such as camels, navys and burgundys (and reds, dusty pinks, bottle greens, the list goes on). Choosing to let this scarf be the main focal point, I decided to pair it with a fail-safe high neck black jumper and suede skirt combination which are both real outfit staples. And it goes without saying that this Berry coloured Fedora was the perfect addition to finish this outfit off. What can I say? This girl gotta have her hat #fivefingerforeheadproblems.

Ps – Fun fact, I shot these photographs on Halloween… it turns out the street I was shooting on was called All Hallows Lane. Spooky or what?!
